A common comment among specialists in automotive detailing is that glazing, when applied in white paint, yellow over time the original hue.

But why does this happen?

Resin-based composition paint glazers are available to provide hardness benefits. While the resin can add hardness and anti-scratch properties, most of these resins do not have protection against UV rays, which makes them sensitive to changes in color due to the incidence of sunlight. This is most evident in clear, mostly white paintings. One way to avoid this problem is to always use paint vitrifiers that do not include the addition of resins and that have protection against UV rays. A product that meets these requirements is the GT1 Ceramic, based on nanoparticulate ceramics. It will not cause yellowing of the piece because it does not have resins in its composition, with a high capacity of UV protection, avoiding the wear of the coloring due to sunlight.
